Job summary

PE Global Recruitment is partnering with a leading semi-state body in Dublin to recruit a Project Finance Manager. You will advise Government Departments and State bodies across climate, education, justice, social housing and transport, working on PPPs, Exchequer-funded projects, concessions and JV structures.

You will build financial models, analyse risks and options, support procurement, and engage with funders while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships with senior public-sector

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in financial advisory, banking, project finance or sustainable finance.
  • Experience supporting major capital projects or infrastructure programmes.
  • Strong financial modelling, numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent commercial judgement and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities.
  • A relevant third-level qualification in finance, economics, commerce or a related discipline.
  • A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or CFA is highly desirable.
  • Experience in project finance, infrastructure finance or transaction advisory would be advantageous.

  • Supporting the structuring and delivery of major infrastructure projects and programmes.
  • Developing and reviewing whole-life financial models and project payment mechanisms.
  • Undertaking financial, commercial, risk, market and options analysis.
  • Supporting procurement and contract development.
  • Engaging with debt and equity funders and monitoring funding markets.
  • Supporting commercial negotiations and financing-related discussions.
  • Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and public-sector clients.
  • Preparing reports, financial analysis and recommendations for senior management.
  • Advising on relevant ESG considerations in major capital projects.

PE Global Recruitment is currently working with a leading semi-state body, which provides financial advice to the Irish Government to recruit a Project Finance Manager to join the team in Dublin.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to work on some of Ireland’s most significant infrastructure and capital investment projects, advising Government Departments and State bodies across sectors including climate, education, justice, social housing and transport.

The Opportunity

Working alongside senior colleagues, you will provide financial and commercial advice across the full project lifecycle, supporting the development and delivery of major projects through Public Private Partnerships (PPPs), Exchequer-funded projects, concessions and joint ventures.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the structuring and delivery of major infrastructure projects and programmes.
