Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Designing and developing modular buildings for customized solutions in accordance with highest standards and demanding requests.

Electrical design on projects (Electrical, Fire Alarm and Controls systems) during factory integration in Letterkenny.

Integration with other disciplines; architectural, structural, mechanical. Focus on general design, concepts, calculation, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cooperation with the design team in the development of CD (construction documentation) sets.
• Preparation of manufacturing documentation.
• Preparing BoMs for installation material and non‑critical equipment.
• Engineering supervision and support when equipping modules at the factory (Letterkenny).
• Engineering support to service team and subcontractors.
• Involvement during the design stage through content and constructability review, responsible for providing feedback (comments) into the design community.
• Collaboration with local service and with the company operations team (project management, quality control, manufacturing, testing team and construction) in defining a project deployment strategy and executing the project.
• Responsible for:
  • As Built Documentation
  • FAT procedures (L3)
  • Installation manuals
  • Assisting with Punch list items
  • Etc.
• Communication with other Vertiv engineering specialists in order to implement the best solutions.
• Collaborate with local service to beneficially improve project execution.
• Engineering supervision and support during site constructions and commissioning.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor or master’s in electrical engineering.
• Required experience 1+ years in similar positions.
• Active user of Windows, MS Office incl. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD.
• Proficient modeling skills required, preferred: Revit; EPLAN.
• Strong knowledge of English language (B2).
