Job summary

Silent Aire in Dublin is seeking a Project Engineer to support project managers and coordinate multiple fabrication and installation tasks on site. You will communicate with general contractors and client teams, prepare concise reports, and help manage project budgets while delivering a high-quality finished product.

You will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and QA/QC, chair meetings as needed, and drive continuous improvement in site installation and commissioning processes to meet

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a site managerial role in manufacturing or construction.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and understanding of customer expectations.
• Fluent English, full driving license and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination and reporting.
• Coordinate deliverables across Engineering, Manufacturing and QA/QC.
• Lead meetings, track lessons learned, RAID logs and site meetings.
• Ensure project costs stay within budget and communicate with clients on site.
• Translate client needs into practical timelines for the site team.
• Identify improvements to streamline site installation and commissioning.
• Record delays or issues on site with potential commercial impact.

What you will do

• Supporting Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Communicate with general contractor and client team on site regarding program and elevate any issues to the PM.

• Producing concise accurate reports for management team.

• Commercial awareness to include ensuring project costs are controlled and as per budget.

• Ensure the clients are given a high-quality finished product and service.

• Translating client needs and organizing in practical terms into required timelines to be met by the site team.

• Constantly seeking ways to streamline and develop site installation and commissioning with product and service quality as a key driver.

• Monitoring and accurately recording any delays or issues on site which may have commercial repercussions.

How you will do it

• Accountable (Lead) for:

  • Supporting Project Managers with project execution - all aspects incl. Delivery, Coordination, Records & Reporting, Document Control,

  • Coordinating project deliverable internally across, Engineering, Manufacturing & QA/QC

  • Chairing meetings - Lessons learned, RAID & site meetings as required.

  • Quality - Reporting

  • Client Relations

• Shared Responsibility for:

  • Procurement as Required.

  • Supplier Relations and Coordination.

  • Continuous Improvement

  • Teaching and Learning - Mentor and motivate team members.

  • Checks and Balances to minimize mistakes (Lessons Learned)

What we look for

Required

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a site managerial role in a manufacturing or construction application.

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Excellent understanding of customer expectations and deliverables and the desire to produce good quality products

• Proficient with the Microsoft suite of applications.

• Fluent in English both verbal and written.
