Job summary

Abbott Ireland is seeking a Project Engineer - Continuous Improvement at the Cootehill site on a 2-year fixed-term contract. You will lead Lean initiatives, drive efficiency, and support the Margin Improvement Program across functions.

You will apply Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC and data-driven methods, collaborate with cross-functional teams and promote sustainable change through Power BI and related tools.

Qualifications

• A third-level qualification in technology, business, engineering or related field.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt with knowledge of DMAIC, Root Cause Analysis, 5S and Standard Work.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean, Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma initiatives across the site.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping to drive project success.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes to improve efficiency, quality and cost.
• Support delivery and reporting of the Margin Improvement Program.
• Develop and execute Lean initiatives to drive productivity and standardisation across departments.
