Job summary

Silent Aire is seeking a Project Engineer to support Project Managers with day-to-day coordination on site projects in Dublin. The role requires coordinating multiple projects concurrently, communicating with contractors and clients, and producing concise reports to the management team.

You will play a key part in controlling project costs, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and translating client needs into practical timelines for the site team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a site managerial role in manufacturing or construction.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent understanding of customer expectations and deliverables and the desire to produce good quality products.
• Proficient with the Microsoft suite of applications.
• Fluent in English both verbal and written.
• Full driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination and reporting.
• Coordinate deliverables internally across Engineering, Manufacturing & QA/QC.
• Chair meetings – lessons learned, RAID & site meetings as required; manage documentation and records.
• Ensure quality reporting and maintain client relations to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with budget and provide concise management reports.
• Translate client needs into practical timelines and coordinate site activities to meet those timelines.

What you will do

• Supporting Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Communicate with general contractor and client team on site regarding program and elevate any issues to the PM.

• Producing concise accurate reports for management team.

• Commercial awareness to include ensuring project costs are controlled and as per budget.

• Ensure the clients are given a high-quality finished product and service.

• Translating client needs and organizing in practical terms into required timelines to be met by the site team.

• Constantly seeking ways to streamline and develop site installation and commissioning with product and service quality as a key driver.

• Monitoring and accurately recording any delays or issues on site which may have commercial repercussions.

How you will do it

• Accountable (Lead) for:

  • Supporting Project Managers with project execution – all aspects incl. Delivery, Coordination, Records & Reporting, Document Control,

  • Coordinating project deliverable internally across, Engineering, Manufacturing & QA/QC

  • Chairing meetings – Lessons learned, RAID & site meetings as required.

  • Quality – Reporting

  • Client Relations

• Shared Responsibility for:

  • Procurement as Required.

  • Supplier Relations and Coordination.

  • Continuous Improvement

  • Teaching and Learning - Mentor and motivate team members.

  • Checks and Balances to minimize mistakes (Lessons Learned)
