Job summary

Silent Aire, a Johnson Controls company, is seeking a Project Engineer in Dublin to support site coordination and project delivery for hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions. You will work closely with Project Managers, on-site teams, and clients to ensure timely, cost-effective execution and high-quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of site managerial experience in manufacturing or construction, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a site managerial role in a manufacturing or construction application.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to understand customer expectations and deliverables.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite; fluent in English; full driver’s license; highly organised and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination and reporting.
• Coordinate across Engineering, Manufacturing and QA/QC to deliver site milestones.
• Chair meetings, manage RAID logs, and ensure lessons learned are captured.
• Monitor project costs to keep them aligned with budget and commercial implications.
• Maintain client relations and ensure a high-quality finished product and service.
• Translate client needs into actionable site tasks and timelines for the team.
• Identify opportunities to streamline site installation and commissioning processes.

What You Will Do

• Supporting Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Communicate with general contractor and client team on site regarding program and escalte any issues to the PM.
• Producing concise accurate reports for management team.
• Commercial awareness to include ensuring project costs are controlled and as per budget.
• Ensure the clients are given a high-quality finished product and service.
• Translating client needs and organizing in practical terms into required timelines to be met by the site team.
• Constantly seeking ways to streamline and develop site installation and commissioning with product and service quality as a key driver.
• Monitoring and accurately recording any delays or issues on site which may have commercial repercussions.

How You Will Do It

• Accountable (Lead) for:
  • Supporting Project Managers with project execution – all aspects incl. Delivery, Coordination, Records & Reporting, Document Control,
  • Coordinating project deliverable internally across, Engineering, Manufacturing & QA/QC
  • Chairing meetings – Lessons learned, RAID & site meetings as required.
  • Quality – Reporting
  • Client Relations
• Shared Responsibility for:
  • Procurement as Required.
  • Supplier Relations and Coordination.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Teaching and Learning - Mentor and motivate team members.
  • Checks and Balances to minimize mistakes (Lessons Learned)

Required

What we look for

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a site managerial role in a manufacturing or construction application.
• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Proficient with the Microsoft suite of applications.
• Fluent in English both verbal and written.

Desirable

• First Aid, IOSH, PSCS, Slinger/Banksman Training, Manual Handling, Safepass, Working at heights.
• Experience in HVAC delivery within DC industry.
