Job summary

Morgan McKinley is partnering with Ireland's premier renewables developer to recruit a Project Developer. Based in Dublin with a hybrid working model, you will own the development of utility-scale solar, wind and BESS projects from concept through execution.

Working alongside a commercial Country Director, you will secure land rights, coordinate planning and grid connections, and engage with landowners and authorities to move projects toward delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in renewable energy project development in Ireland or the UK.
• Proven track record securing land agreements and navigating planning processes.
• Strong understanding of grid connection frameworks and project viability.
• Relevant degree in Engineering, Planning, Environmental Science, Business, or related field.

• Pipeline Development: Drive early-to-mid stage utility-scale solar, wind, and BESS projects across Ireland.
• Land & Grid: Secure land rights, options, and grid connection routes in coordination with legal and landowner stakeholders.
• Planning & Consents: Lead external planning consultants and technical teams to prepare and submit planning applications.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with landowners, local planning authorities, community groups, and grid operators (EirGrid/ESB Networks).

Backed by substantial global capital and a strong, well-funded project pipeline, you will work alongside an energetic, commercially savvy Country Director to advance Solar, Onshore Wind, and BESS developments from early concept to execution.
