Job summary

Suretank Group in Ireland seeks a graduate engineer to join the Projects Delivery team. You will assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering production and engineering projects across the facility, working with mechanical, electrical and production teams to develop schedules and track milestones.

This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with mentoring from experienced engineers and project managers, exposure to mechanical and electrical systems, and

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or related engineering field.
  • Recent graduate or up to 1 year of experience (internships/placements included).
  • Interest in project delivery, production planning and engineering operations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and update production schedules.
  • Analyse workflow, capacity and resource requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement to optimise production efficiency.
  • Plan and deliver engineering and production projects.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines and progress trackers.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and production teams to ensure alignment on project requirements.
  • Monitor progress and report on risks, delays or issues.
  • Review technical drawings, specifications and documentation.
  • Assist in equipment installation, commissioning and process improvements.
  • Prepare project documentation and updates for stakeholders.
  • Maintain records of project activities, changes and approvals.
  • Support compliance with quality, safety and engineering standards.
  • Liaise with Production, Engineering, Quality and Maintenance teams.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem solving.

This position is ideal for a graduate with a Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or General Engineering degree who is eager to gain handson experience in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Production Scheduling & Planning
  • Assist in preparing and updating production schedules.
  • Analyse workflow, capacity, and resource requirements.

  • Support the planning and delivery of engineering and production projects.

Technical & Engineering Support
  • Work with engineering teams on mechanical and electrical components used in production.
  • Assist in reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Support equipment installation, commissioning, and process improvements where required.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare project documentation, reports, and updates for internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, changes, and approvals.
  • Support compliance with quality, safety, and engineering standards.
CrossFunctional Collaboration
  • Liaise with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to problemsolving discussions.
  • Support communication between departments to ensure smooth project execution.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong organisational and scheduling skills.

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with scheduling tools is an advantage.

Qualifications
