Job summary

ACCPRO is seeking a hands‑on Project Accountant in Ireland to join a multinational team. The role reports to the FD and oversees the planning, development and growth of a newly created entity within a construction/real estate context.

Prior experience with project managers, QS and stakeholders is highly valued. The successful candidate will manage financial controls, budgeting and reporting for project portfolios, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications

  • Must be ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA qualified or equivalent
  • Background in property, construction, real estate or similar with experience managing large capital projects
  • Strong financial reporting and budgeting experience
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Maintain financial controls and reporting records (month-end, audit, AP/AR, VAT and tax admin)
  • Support treasury planning for project financing requirements
  • Oversee the overall construction budget and detailed cost reports tracking project timeline, expenditure and forecasting
  • Manage variance reporting, cash flow forecasting
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders of all levels

Compensation: up to 90k basic plus benefits (bonus, pension, health)

Job type: Full time, permanent

Due to impressive and ambitious growth, our multinational client is looking for a hands‑on Project Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will report to the FD and oversee the planning, development, maintenance and growth of a newly created entity. The ideal candidate will be coming from a construction/real estate/property background or similar where they have worked closely with project managers, QS and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the complete financial controls and reporting records (month-end, audit, AP/AR, VAT and tax admin)
  • Support treasury planning for project financing requirements
  • Oversee the overall construction budget and detailed cost reports tracking project timeline, expenditure and forecasting
  • Manage variance reporting, cash flow forecasting
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders of all levels

Key Skills:
