Job summary
LGC Limited in Ireland is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead New Product Development (NPD) initiatives, steering concept through to launch.
You will develop end-to-end plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines and budgets, assess risks, and deliver updates to senior leadership.
The role requires a Biological Sciences degree, 5–7+ years in programme management, and familiarity with PM methodologies; PMP is desirable.
Qualifications
- A degree in Biological Sciences, Life Sciences or a related field.
- 5–7+ years in programme or project management in life sciences, diagnostics or pharma.
- PM methodologies knowledge (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.).
- Budgeting, risk management and collaborator engagement experience.
- PMP certification or equivalent is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver end-to-end programme plans for complex NPD projects.
- Lead cross-functional teams to bring new products to market.
- Manage timelines, budgets and collaborator expectations.
- Coordinate the full product development lifecycle from ideation to launch.
- Identify and mitigate risks across the programme lifecycle.
- Collaborate with customers and senior leadership; provide updates.
