Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland is seeking a Programme Coordinator for Tang National School in Westmeath to lead and develop a team, oversee day-to-day activities, and interact with children and families.

The role is on-site, Monday to Friday, part-time, with a car required and Garda vetting completed after interview. Proficiency with Word/Outlook/Teams and childcare qualification preferred.

Job Description

• Programme Lead must have experience in managing and leading a team
• Own carrequiredfor programme lead
• Maintain the day-to-day activities
• Interacting with the children, theirfamiliesand other staff members each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Experience working with school aged children is preferred (Minimum 2 year)
• Proficiencyin technology and software (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)
• Childcare qualificationFetacLevel 5 of equivalent
• Basic knowledge of child development
• Proficiencyin English, both verbal and written
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks arerequiredbefore starting
