Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland is seeking a Programme Lead to manage on-site after-school and holiday clubs for school-aged children. The role requires leadership of a team, reliability with daily activities, and a valid car for travel between sites.

You will engage with children, families and staff daily, ensuring safe, structured, and engaging programmes while maintaining high energy and enthusiasm.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school-aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Childcare qualification Fetac Level 5 or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• Work Permit/VISA essential.
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Job Description

• Programme Lead must have experience in managing and leading a team
• Own car required for programme lead
• Maintain the day-to-day activities
• Interacting with the children, their families and other staff members each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Experience working with school aged children is preferred (Minimum 2 year)
• Proficiency in technology and software (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).

Working hours

Monday - Friday

1:15pm - 6pm Plus 2 hours per week for administrative purpose.
