Job summary

Sherpa Kids is recruiting a Programme Assistant for Holywell National School Cork. You will supervise children during activities, assist with homework, and lead a variety of planned indoor and outdoor activities each day.

You should bring energy and enthusiasm to work with children, assist with games and crafts, and help maintain a safe, inclusive environment. Garda vetting is essential and two written references are required before starting.

Qualifications

• Experience with school-aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting to be completed after interview; two written references required.

Job Description

• Supervise children during activities and free play
• Assistwith homework and educational tasks
• Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assistwith games, crafts, and group activities
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)
• Basic knowledge of child development
• Proficiencyin English, both verbal and written
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting
• 14.20pm to 6pm Monday to Friday & Breakfast club cover when needed 7.40-8.40
