Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland is seeking enthusiastic staff to supervise and support primary school children in before and after school clubs at local schools in Cobh. Roles are on-site during after-school hours and holiday clubs, offering safe, engaging activities and homework help.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience with school-aged children, knowledge of child development, and strong English skills; Garda vetting and two written references are required before starting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks.
• Engage in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Bring lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.
