Collins McNicholas Recruitment & HR Services Group is seeking an experienced Program Manager to own technically complex programs within a high-performance electronics engineering and manufacturing environment.

The role offers scope to influence delivery, solve challenging technical problems, and work on sophisticated electronic products with international stakeholders. Travel across Europe, Asia and the US is possible.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5–10 years in electronics/engineering/project/program management.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management in a technical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead NPD and NPI programs from planning through production.
  • Own program performance across quality, delivery, cost and schedule.
  • Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, finance and other teams.
  • Build relationships with internal customers and international stakeholders.
  • Manage production readiness, materials, resources and phase-in/phase-out activities.
  • Monitor schedules, costs, risks and KPIs, and drive corrective actions.
  • Support demand, order and capacity planning for the product portfolio.
  • Coordinate with design and engineering teams across locations.
  • Manage programs through lifecycle including obsolescence planning and aftermarket support.
  • Provide clear updates and reporting to stakeholders.

Job description

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Program Manager to take ownership of technically complex programs within a high-performance engineering and manufacturing environment.

The position offers significant scope to influence how programs are delivered, solve challenging technical and operational problems, and work on sophisticated electronic products in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead New Product Development and New Product Introduction (NPI) programs from planning through production.
  • Own program performance across quality, delivery, service, cost and schedule.
  • Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, finance and other cross-functional teams.
  • Build strong relationships with internal customers and international stakeholders.
  • Manage production readiness, materials, resources and product phase-in/phase-out activities.
  • Monitor program schedules, product costs, risks and KPIs, driving corrective actions where required.
  • Support demand, order and capacity planning across the assigned product portfolio.
  • Coordinate with local and international design and engineering teams.
  • Manage programs throughout the product lifecycle, including obsolescence planning and aftermarket support.
  • Provide clear program updates, escalation and reporting to key stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
  • Approximately 5–10 years’ experience within electronics, engineering, project or program management.
  • Strong project/program leadership and stakeholder management capability.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Electronics manufacturing, NPI or electronic product development experience is particularly valuable.
  • Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Organised, self-motivated and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a technical environment.
Travel

Some international travel may be required across Europe, Asia and the US.
