We're looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Program Manager to join our PMO in Galway and take the lead on complex, multi-phase product development programmes - from initial concept through to market introduction and manufacturing transfer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of cross-functional teams, partnering with customers and colleagues across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance and Business Development to deliver innovative medical device solutions.

The Role:

As Program Manager, you'll be the primary point of contact for customers on project-related matters and will take ownership of delivering programmes on time, within scope and against agreed financial targets.

You'll manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity, coordinating teams, resources, budgets, schedules, risks and deliverables while ensuring compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.

  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline. A Master's degree is desirable.
  • At least 5 years' post-graduate experience in medical device product design/development or another regulated industry.
  • At least 3 years' experience in Program or Project Management, or equivalent experience.
  • PMP® certification or equivalent project management training.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, resource management, risk management and stakeholder management.
Experience in the following areas would be particularly valuable:
  • Delivery systems
  • Dilators
  • Braided shafts
What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Customer-focused and committed to delivering an excellent experience.
  • A confident communicator who can engage effectively with technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Comfortable leading teams and holding people accountable for commitments and deliverables.
  • A natural problem solver who remains calm and resourceful when challenges arise.
Why This Role?

This is an opportunity to take ownership of high-impact medical device programmes and play a key role in bringing products from concept to reality.

You'll work with talented, multidisciplinary teams, engage directly with strategic customers and help shape the way complex projects are delivered across the organisation.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving complex problems and have a passion for medical device innovation and project leadership, we'd love to hear from you.
