Job summary

Life Science Recruitment in Galway, Ireland is seeking a Program Manager to lead cross-functional medical device development programmes from concept through market introduction and manufacturing transfer. You will be the primary point of contact for customers and responsible for delivering programmes on time, within scope and budget.

You will coordinate engineering, quality, manufacturing, finance and business development teams, manage budgets, schedules and risks, ensure compliance with quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering; Master's degree is desirable.
• At least 5 years' post-graduate experience in medical device product design/development or another regulated industry.
• At least 3 years' experience in Program or Project Management, or equivalent.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management training.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of high-impact medical device programmes from concept through to market introduction and manufacturing transfer.
• Be the primary point of contact for customers on project-related matters and own delivery to time, scope and financial targets.
• Coordinate teams, resources, budgets, schedules, risks and deliverables while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Work with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance and Business Development to deliver innovative medical device solutions.
