Job summary

Sofina Foods seeks a Team Leader to head a high-performing production shift in our Primal or Slicing department, delivering quality products safely and efficiently. You will lead by motivating your team and maintaining high standards.

Working closely with Quality, Technical, HR and Logistics, you will drive operational excellence through coaching, development, and a commitment to food safety and GMP. A proven people leader is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum Leaving Certificate with supervision/people management qualification advantageous.
• At least two years' experience leading a team in food manufacturing.
• Fluent English with strong communication and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead team to achieve daily production plans and KPIs.
• Set objectives, monitor performance, provide coaching and feedback.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, quality, hygiene and GMP.
• Promote health and safety culture across the shift.
• Mentor colleagues to maximise capability and engagement.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping in the production area.
• Build strong relationships with Quality, Technical, Engineering, Logistics and HR.
• Ensure equipment and areas are maintained for safe production.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
• Support the development and use of production systems.
