Job summary

FitzMac Ltd in Limerick is seeking a capable Production Foreman to supervise daily modular manufacturing activities, coordinate staff, and ensure quality and safety across the production line.

You will work with design, procurement and site teams to ensure modules are ready for delivery and handover. Previous foreman experience in modular construction and strong organisational and communication skills are desired. Salary €40,000-€45,000 and an in-person work setup.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to ensure modular units are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in line with the production programme and project requirements.
• Manage and coordinate production staff, allocating tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring adequate labour resources across the factory.
• Monitor quality and workmanship throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring units comply with drawings, specifications, tolerances, and company quality standards.
• Coordinate materials and resources with purchasing and stores to ensure materials, components, tools, and equipment are available when required and minimise production delays.
• Maintain health and safety standards by ensuring safe working practices, RAMS, PPE requirements, housekeeping, and factory procedures are followed.
• Track production progress and productivity, identifying bottlenecks, delays, defects, or rework and implementing corrective actions to keep production on programme.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, project management, and site teams to resolve technical or production issues and ensure completed modules are ready for delivery, installation, and handover.

• Previous experience in construction / foreman role is desirable.
• Previous experience with modular building is advantageous.
• Knowledge of construction materials is desirable.

• Comfortable using laptops and HR software to keep track of employee holidays.
