Job summary

Elk Recruitment in Rathnew, Wicklow seeks a driven Production Scheduler to join our client’s growing team. This permanent, full‑time role offers a competitive salary of €40,000–€60,000 depending on experience and a real opportunity to influence production flow on site.

The successful candidate will develop and maintain production schedules, coordinate daily activities, liaise with cross‑functional teams, track status, and maintain accurate production records to ensure timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a production planning or scheduling role within manufacturing is essential.
• Strong understanding of capacity planning, lead time management and scheduling principles.
• Experience working with production data and planning systems (ERP or similar).
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with shop floor teams.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining production schedules and communicate updates to all relevant departments.
• Coordinating and overseeing daily production activities to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Liaising between different teams, including creative, logistics, and supply chain, to facilitate smooth production flow.
• Tracking and reporting on production status, identifying and resolving any issues or delays.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and records related to production processes and materials.
