Mergon International currently have opportunities for Production Operators to join our team at the Castlepollard plant in Co. Westmeath. This is a temporary full-time role operating on a 4-cycle shift pattern, with the requirement to work both day and night shifts, as well as every second weekend.
As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production lines. You will be responsible for a range of activities, including packing, labelling, equipment monitoring, and ensuring quality standards are consistently met. Candidates must have previous manufacturing experience. Previous injection moulding /blow moulding experience would be an advantage.
A good level of English communication and understanding is important.
Individuals must be able to work on their own as initiative as well as part of a team.
Exposure to continuous improvement projects including Six Sigma training while not essential is an advantage.
Full training will be provided.
