Job summary

Careerwise Recruitment is seeking four Production Operators for a leading manufacturing client based in North Mayo. This 11-month contract role operates on a rotating two-shift cycle, 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm, Monday to Friday.

The role requires adherence to production specs, quality, hygiene and safety standards, with full training provided where needed. Ideal candidates will have reliability, detail orientation and the ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow all production, quality, hygiene and safety procedures.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas.
• Handle raw materials and finished products safely.
• Collaborate to meet production schedules and targets.
• Report equipment issues, quality concerns or safety risks promptly.

Our client who is a leading manufacturing company has a requirement for a Production Operators X 4 based in North Mayo. This is an 11 month contracting position. This would be a 2 cycle shift. This would be 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm Monday to Friday. This is a hands-on role requiring compliance with production specifications, quality standards, hygiene requirements and health and safety procedures. Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, food or pharmaceutical environment is desirable; however, full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate powder blending, filling and packing equipment.
• Operate capsule-filling and tablet-manufacturing machinery.
• Prepare and blend powders in accordance with production specifications.
• Weigh, fill, seal and label products accurately.
• Complete routine quality checks and maintain accurate production records.

• Ability to regularly lift and handle loads of up to 25 kg as part of normal production duties.
• Ability to carry out practical production activities in line with role requirements and safety procedures.
