Job summary

Matrix Recruitment Group is seeking a Production Operative to join a busy team in Waterford on a 6-month contract, starting as soon as possible. Training is provided to give hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting, with a Monday-to-Friday 39-hour week and a day shift.

The role offers a starting rate of €15.50 per hour, with duties spanning packing, labelling, batch paperwork, and progressing to dispensing tasks. Training and SOP/GMP adherence are emphasized to ensure quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent required.
• Interest in learning – manufacturing experience is an advantage but not a must.
• Good attention to detail and a team-oriented approach.
• Willingness to follow procedures and work safely.
• Manual handling experience helpful (training can be provided).

Job description

We’re looking for a Production Operative to join a busy team on a 6-month contract, starting as soon as possible based in Waterford.

This is a fantastic entry point to manufacturing, with full training provided and the chance to gain hands‑on experience.

You’ll work Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week, on a day shift.

Hours include Monday to Thursday 7.50 - 16.50 and Friday 6.50 - 11.50

This role is offered at €15.50 per hour.
