Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Production Manager to lead a team of around 25 on the shop floor in Blessington, Ireland. The role encompasses production planning, people management, quality, maintenance and overall operational performance.

You will be highly visible on the production floor, owning scheduling, KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives, while supporting ISO requirements and cross-functional collaboration with other departments to drive successful product outcomes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Production Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Proven experience managing and developing production teams.
• Experience with production planning, scheduling and operational KPIs.
• Hands-on management style with a strong shop-floor presence.
• Experience in a quality-focused manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to continuous improvement and process optimisation.
• Experience with maintenance, purchasing, stock control and/or transport would be advantageous.
• Experience managing production or operational budgets would be beneficial.

• Investigate and resolve production and quality-related customer complaints.
• Work closely with other departments to support new and existing products.
• Contribute as a key member of the wider management team.
