Job summary

DwyerOmega EMEA is seeking a Production Manager to lead production operations in a high‑tech manufacturing setting. You will own production execution, inventory performance and team development while driving performance through planning, data-led decisions and KPI reporting.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will collaborate with Quality and Engineering to remove bottlenecks, improve flow and deliver measurable improvements in on‑time delivery and waste reduction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a production or operational leadership role.
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Experience driving operational performance through data and systems.
• ERP and operational reporting experience.
• KPI-driven manufacturing background.
• Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement experience advantageous.

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Production Manager to lead production operations within a high-tech manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will take ownership of production execution, inventory performance and team development, while driving operational performance through strong leadership, effective planning, process improvement and data-led decision-making.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the Production, Supply Chain and Stores teams to achieve customer delivery and productivity targets
• Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, accountability and continuous improvement
• Drive performance through KPIs, reporting and daily performance management
• Improve production planning, scheduling, inventory control and operational reporting
• Ensure production plans and schedules are delivered efficiently and accurately
• Use ERP systems and operational data to improve visibility and decision-making
• Work closely with Quality and Engineering to remove constraints and improve operational flow
• Lead initiatives focused on productivity, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery and waste reduction
• Develop team capability through coaching, clear expectations and performance management

About you:

• Proven experience in a production or operational leadership role
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, inventory control and material flow
• Experience improving operational performance through systems, processes and data
• Strong ERP and operational reporting experience
• Background in a KPI-driven manufacturing environment
• Demonstrable success improving metrics such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, productivity or inventory accuracy
• Highly organised, analytical and confident in solving complex problems
• Strong communication skills, with the confidence to manage difficult conversations when required

Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence would be advantageous, as would a relevant qualification in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or Business.
