Job summary

Valeo in Ireland seeks an APU Manager to lead a production area, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

You will supervise a team, conduct appraisals, manage budgets, and drive Lean initiatives. This is a permanent full-time role in Tuam with a focus on SQCDM and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large teams in a production environment.
• Ability to implement training plans and monitor competence.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental rules.
• Proven track record in delivering SQCDM targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily, weekly and monthly production meetings and delegate tasks.
• Ensure health, safety, quality and environmental standards on the APU.
• Manage production performance and customer satisfaction, including margins.
• Oversee budget planning and allocate resources to stay within perimeter.
• Drive continuous improvement and Lean initiatives across the APU.
• Coordinate with support functions for maintenance and corrective actions.
• Prepare and communicate capacity to SC for SIOP/MPS.
• Lead new projects industrialization and start-ups.
