Job summary

nineDots.io seeks an experienced Product Manager to bridge product strategy and engineering delivery in a rapidly expanding digital function in Dublin. You’ll own the technical product lifecycle from roadmap through to release, partnering with software engineers, architects and senior stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure digital platforms.

Qualifications

• 6+ years delivering software products or digital platforms.
• 3+ years as Product Owner, Technical Product Manager or Senior Business Analyst.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and system architecture.
• Experience with APIs, cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices.
• Strong Agile experience across Scrum, Kanban or similar delivery frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Translate product strategy into clear technical roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Own backlog prioritisation, refinement and sprint planning.
• Write high-quality technical user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications.
• Work closely with engineering on APIs, data models and platform evolution.
• Making scope, priority and delivery trade-off decisions to maximise product value.

Why This Role

Our client is expanding its digital product function and is looking for a Product Manager to bridge the gap between product strategy and engineering delivery.

This isn't a role where you'll simply manage a backlog. They're looking for someone with strong technical knowledge who can work confidently with software engineers, architects and senior stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, high-quality digital products.

Working directly with the Chief Product Officer, you'll help translate product vision into technically executable roadmaps while balancing business priorities with long-term platform evolution.

What They Need Help With

You’ll own the product backlog and work closely with engineering, architecture, UX and business stakeholders to deliver complex digital platforms.

That includes:

• Translating product strategy into clear technical roadmaps and delivery plans
• Owning backlog prioritisation, refinement and sprint planning
• Writing high-quality technical user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications
• Working closely with engineering on APIs, integrations, data models and platform evolution
• Making scope, priority and delivery trade-off decisions to maximise product value
• Reviewing technical solutions to ensure scalability and architectural alignment
• Leading product demonstrations, stakeholder reviews and release communications
• Ensuring products meet security, regulatory, performance and reliability standards
• Championing quality engineering, automated testing and continuous improvement

This is a hands-on Product Manger role where you'll spend as much time collaborating with engineering teams as you will influencing senior business stakeholders.

What They’re Looking For

• 6+ years' experience delivering software products or digital platforms
• 3+ years as a Product Owner, Technical Product Manager or Senior Business Analyst
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and system architecture
• Experience working with APIs, cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices
• Strong Agile experience across Scrum, Kanban or similar delivery frameworks
• Confident making prioritisation, scope and delivery decisions
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Bonus if you have:

• Experience within healthcare, fintech, SaaS or another regulated industry
• Experience delivering integration-heavy or platform-based products
• Knowledge of FHIR, interoperability or enterprise systems integration
