Job summary

CarGurus in Dublin is seeking a Product Data Analyst to serve as the local analytics lead for our Dublin office. You will navigate complex data environments, build scalable data assets, drive site experimentation, and translate insights into business priorities for the product and marketplace teams.

You should have 2+ years in analytics, expert SQL and Python (or R), experience with Looker, dbt, Snowflake, and strong communication skills to influence executive decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field with 2+ years of analytics experience.
• Expert SQL and statistical programming knowledge (Python/R/SAS).
• Experience with Looker, dbt, Snowflake and data visualization of dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive analyses across multiple data sources to quantify product performance and user behavior.
• Define metrics and automate dashboards to guide executive decision-making.
• Lead A/B testing and experimentation, shaping data-driven product decisions.
• Collaborate with Data Eng to build scalable data transformations and assets.
• Translate findings into clear insights for senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Partner with Product/Engineering/Data teams to align data strategy with business goals.
