GCS Recruitment partners with a global organisation to recruit a Data Analyst for Cork on a hybrid 6-month contract. You will join a fast-paced Data & Analytics function, translating complex data into actionable insights that shape business strategy and operational decisions.

The role involves building dashboards with Power BI/Tableau, executing SQL on large datasets, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver meaningful analyses.

Qualifications

• Experience as Data Analyst or BI Analyst.
• Strong SQL skills for querying large datasets.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Passion for turning data into business insights.

Responsibilities

• Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends and insights.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs.
• Monitor KPIs and produce regular performance updates.
• Improve data quality and reporting processes.
• Support strategic projects with ad hoc analyses.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to enhance reporting capabilities.
