Job summary

Verizon’s central Procurement team is seeking a Procurement Specialist to coordinate end-to-end processes with internal stakeholders, driving value and cross-functional collaboration.

The role focuses on influencing partners, presenting new ideas for approval, and leading time-sensitive projects in a hybrid work environment. A Bachelor’s in Business/Procurement or Supply Chain and right to work in Ireland are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Procurement or Supply Chain related field.
• Candidates must already hold a valid right to work in Ireland; we cannot sponsor work permits.

Responsibilities

• Resolve problems while developing and identifying areas for process improvements and enhanced operational efficiencies, recommending changes and establishing plans for implementation.
• Plan and implement buying programs.
• Lead projects and manage multiple time-sensitive requests, interfacing with all levels of management to support process enhancements.
• Build collaborative relationships through effective verbal and written communication with customers and internal teams.
• Track delivery service levels and meet expectations established by internal customers and partners.
