Job summary

Michael J. Scannell & Co. Limited T/A M J Scannell Safety in Dublin is seeking a Procurement Officer. The role is hands-on, focusing on tenders, supplier management and operational tasks such as raising purchase orders and maintaining procurement systems. 37.5 hours per week.

You will work in a busy procurement function with exposure to commercial activity and tender processes. The position requires a relevant qualification or equivalent experience, with a minimum salary of €36,605 per annum.

The Procurement Officer should be someone with solid procurement experience who understands how tenders work, can manage suppliers confidently, and is comfortable handling operational tasks such as raising purchase orders and maintaining systems. It is a hands‑on role with exposure to commercial and tender activity, but also responsibility for keeping procurement operations running smoothly. Must have the relevant qualification or relevant work experience. The basic weekly hours are 37.5 hours. Minimum salary is €36,605 per annum.
