Brightwater Recruitment client in the Irish sustainable energy sector is seeking a Procurement and Contract Executive for an 18-month contract in Dublin. The role focuses on supporting contract management, maintaining registers, and analysing contracts and expenditures to identify risks and opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ relevant experience, a Level 8 degree in business (or equivalent), and strong knowledge of public procurement standards and regulations.

Our client is a leading body within the Irish sustainable energy sector who are hiring a Procurement and Contract Executive to join their team. This job will be well suited for someone with public procurement and contract management experience who wants to join a prominent organisation within the Irish sustainability sector. Please note that this job is an initial 18-month contract with prospect for extension.

About the Position

• As Procurement and Contract Executive, your job will be to support contract management processes, procedures, audit trails, etc.
• Ensuring registers are up to date and well maintained.
• Analysing contracts, suppliers and expenditure information to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Producing compliance reports and highlighting issues requiring management attention.
• Reviewing tender information, filing procurement information, etc.
• Other duties as required.

Experience/Requirements

• For this Procurement and Contract Executive job, you will have 3+ years’ directly relevant experience and a level 8 degree in business or another relevant discipline.
• You will also have strong knowledge of public procurement and associated standards/regulations.
