Job summary

Dexcom Corporation in Ireland seeks a Front End Night Shift engineer to join a global CGM leader. You will retrieve and analyse engineering data, test electro-mechanical assemblies, operate robotic equipment, and document results in a fast-paced environment.

The 12-hour night shift runs Mon-Wed with alternate Thursdays, with a 30% premium. 2–4 years of related experience and strong problem solving are required, plus proficiency in Minitab and Tableau.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Level 6/7 qualification and a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience.
• Ability to read, analyse, and interpret technical documentation related to equipment specifications.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and familiarity with QA/QC processes.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and analyse engineering data such as yield performance results.
• Test performance of electro-mechanical assemblies, using test equipment.
• Operate, test, or maintain robotic equipment and vision systems.
• Analyse and record test results, and prepare written documentation.

Front End Night Shift 12-hour night shifts (7pm - 7am) every Monday to Wednesday and alternate Thursdays, following a repeating 4-on/3-off - 3-on/4-off schedule. Shift Premium: 30% premium (Mon-Thurs)

Where you come in:

• Retrieve and analyse engineering data such as yield performance results.
• Test performance of electro-mechanical assemblies, using test equipment.
• Operate, test, or maintain robotic equipment and vision systems.
• Analyse and record test results, and prepare written documentation.
• Perform operational test and fault isolation on automated systems and equipment.
• Carry out activities in equipment development under supervision of the project engineer.
• These activities include the assembly and testing of equipment, fixtures, processes and/or electronics, completing engineering studies and validations.
• Follow Dexcom's Safety and Lock Out/Tag out (LOTO) program.
• Assume and perform other duties as assigned.
• Perform all assigned tasks with appropriate safety requirements.
• Update equipment related documentations (manuals, drawings, and specifications) as needed.

What makes you successful:

• You are experienced with problem solving methodologies such as A3s, 5 whys etc.
• You have previous experience with Minitab and Tableau.
• You have previous experience of supporting IQs and OQs.
• Typically requires a Level 6/7 qualification and a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience.
• Ability to read, analyse, and interpret common scientific and technical documents related to equipment specifications.
• Ability to write routine reports, pass downs and correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, engineers and managers.
• Experience with process improvement projects i.e. improving yields, reducing downtime.
• Proven ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and personal interaction skills.
• Knowledge of high reliability, high volume manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Technical writing skills as applied to manufacturing documentation and process development.
• Experienced in the creation and revision of technical documentation.

The annualised base salary for this position is from €37,230.00 to €48,180.00 gross. Final offer will depend on your qualifications, competencies, and professional experience.
