Job summary

Dexcom is hiring for a Front End Night Shift role based in Ireland. You will retrieve and analyse engineering data, test electro-mechanical assemblies, and operate robotic systems to support CGM technology development.

The role requires problem-solving skills, experience with Minitab/Tableau, IQs and OQs, and a Level 6/7 qualification with 2–4 years of related experience. Strong documentation and communication are essential.

Front End Night Shift

12‑hour night shifts (7pm - 7am) every Monday to Wednesday and alternate Thursdays, following a repeating 4-on/3-off – 3-on/4-off schedule. Shift Premium: 30% premium (Mon-Thurs)

Where you come in:

• You will retrieve and analyse engineering data such as yield performance results.
• You will test performance of electro-mechanical assemblies, using test equipment
• You will operate, test, or maintain robotic equipment and vision systems.
• You will analyse and record test results, and prepare written documentation
• You will perform operational test and fault isolation on automated systems and equipment.
• You will carry out activities in equipment development under supervision of the project engineer. These activities include the assembly and testing of equipment, fixtures, processes and/or electronics, completing engineering studies and validations.
• You will follow Dexcom’s Safety and Lock Out/Tag out (LOTO) program.
• You will assume and perform other duties as assigned.
• You will perform all assigned tasks with appropriate safety requirements.
• You will update equipment related documentations (manuals, drawings, and specifications) as needed.

What makes you successful:

• You are experienced with problem solving methodologies such as A3s, 5 whys etc.
• You have previous experience with Minitab and Tableau.
• You have previous experience of supporting IQs and OQs.
• Typically requires a Level 6/7 qualification and a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience
• Ability to read, analyse, and interpret common scientific and technical documents related to equipment specifications
• Ability to write routine reports, pass downs and correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, engineers and managers
• Experience with process improvement projects i.e. improving yields, reducing downtime
• Proven ability to work hands‑on in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and personal interaction skills
• Knowledge of high reliability, high volume manufacturing equipment and processes
• Technical writing skills as applied to manufacturing documentation and process development - Experienced in the creation and revision of technical documentation

The annualised base salary for this position is from €37,230.00 to €48,180.00 gross. Final offer will depend on your qualifications, competencies, and professional experience.
