Henkel is seeking a Process Safety Engineer in Ireland to lead the PSM programme, engage with plant operations and review process data from SCADA and historian systems. You will drive risk assessments, investigate incidents, and maintain critical safety documentation.

You will guide operations, engineering and maintenance on risk management, participate in capital projects, MoC and PSSRs, and promote a proactive safety culture across the site in Dublin region.

Competenze

• Degree in science or engineering in chemical, mechanical, process safety or related discipline.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing or high-hazard environments with strong risk management.
• Certifications such as Chartered Engineer or NEBOSH PSM are advantageous.

Mansioni

• Lead and maintain the site's Process Safety Management programme and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate hazard and risk assessments (HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA, ATEX) to mitigate risks.
• Act as site subject matter expert for process safety and guide operations and engineering.
• Lead process safety incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Manage critical process safety documentation (BoS, risk assessments, SOPs, compliance).
• Monitor safety performance through KPI analysis, audits and inspections.
• Support capital projects, MoC, PSSRs and operational readiness.
• Foster strong partnerships across manufacturing teams to promote safety culture.
