Job summary

The College Group is recruiting a Process Operator for the Rendering Plant in Nobber. You will operate the production PLC to control processes, gather data and generate reports to support KPI delivery.

This role follows an 8-hour shift pattern across days and nights, including weekends, and requires strong attention to detail, good communication and solid computer skills to support lab sampling, data entry and equipment checks.

Qualifications

• Experience operating PLC systems.
• Ability to plan and organize workload.
• Strong computer skills and data entry.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate the PLC to control production, gather data and generate reports.
• Identify and report problems to the production supervisor.
• Achieve process capacity and KPIs.
• Hand over key information at shift transitions.
• Sample and deliver products to the lab for QC.
• Perform routine maintenance and equipment checks.
• Follow safety guidelines on-site per HSA.
