Job summary

College Group in Nobber, Co. Meath, invites applications for Process Operators to join the AD Team. The role focuses on operating and monitoring the anaerobic digestion plant, ensuring safety, efficiency and quality, with 3 x 13-hour shifts Mon-Sat and occasional Sundays.

You will handle feedstock intake paperwork, operate machinery, perform quality checks, assist with loading and dispatch, and maintain hygiene and asset care while complying with EH&S policies.

  • General hygiene and housekeeping duties.
  • Comply with all Quality Environmental Health and Safety requirements/training and regulations.

Job description

Established in 1989, College Group (College Proteins) is a prominent Irish leader in bio-waste management and renewable energy production, focused on "closing the bio-waste circle" by converting animal by-products and food waste into sustainable resources. Headquartered in Nobber, Co. Meath, the group has grown to operate across three main sites (Nobber, Co. Meath; Monnery, Co. Cavan; and Mayobridge, Co. Down) with a workforce of over 170 employees.

We are currently seeking to recruit enthusiastic Process Operators to join the AD Team based in Nobber. This position will be an integral part of our operation and will work to maximize efficiency and support delivery of key performance indicators.

Hours & Schedule:

This role requires shift work. The current schedule consists of 3 x 13-hour shifts per week, scheduled Monday to Saturday. You will also be required to work some Sundays on a rotational basis. Please note that exact hours and shifts are subject to change based on business needs.

  • Monnery, Co. Cavan (Farragh Proteins): A Category 3 facility focused on processing lower-risk animal by-products for the feed industry.
