Job summary

Morgan McKinley is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical company to hire a Process Equipment Project Engineer (PE) on a 12-month contract onsite in Athlone, Ireland. The PE will lead equipment projects for tabletting manufacturing (OSD) and oversee major capital expansion, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and quality validation.

The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risk, and maintaining project documentation (URS, ES, FAT/IQ/OQ/PQ).

Qualifications

• Requires a third level qualification in engineering or science.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams in pharma is highly valued.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate equipment projects for tabletting/OSD in pharma.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and risk across design, validation, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors and internal teams; ensure timely handover.
• Support documentation such as URS, ES, FAT/IQ/OQ/PQ, and validation planning.
