Job summary

Analog Devices in Ireland (Limerick area) seeks a technically skilled engineer to develop fabrication processes for magnetoresistive sensors used in industrial and medical applications. You will work with device experts to translate concepts into robust, high-volume production, employing clean room practices and advanced characterization techniques.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Engineering or a PhD in a related field, with 5+ years of R&D experience in magnetic materials or sensors, and

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years of related R&D or a PhD in Electronics, Microelectronics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Applied Physics.
Experience in magnetic materials and/or magnetic field sensor development and characterization.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills with ability to share technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with device experts and designers to define process requirements and communicate progress to management and customers.
Lead development of new fabrication processes for magnetoresistive sensors from concept to handover to volume production.
Work with Quality and Failure Analysis teams to determine stress, test methods, and improve process robustness and device reliability.
