Job summary

Glanua seeks a Process Design Lead specializing in Anaerobic Digestion and biogas to deliver robust process and hydraulic designs from concept to construction. You will shape design strategy, lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure high-quality deliverables across MEICA interfaces.

You will mentor engineers, engage clients, and drive design improvements, safety compliance and efficient site layouts, with a focus on sustainable bioresource solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 8 Honours Degree in Chemical, Water/Wastewater, Environmental, or Process Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of 12 years’ relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within anaerobic digestion or process engineering.
• CompEx Qualification considered a minimum requirement.
• Professional accreditation (e.g., Chartered Engineer status) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead design discussions, workshops and client engagement to ensure design intent and programme requirements are clearly communicated.
• Mentor, coach and develop junior engineers and designers, fostering technical excellence.
• Prepare and review process & hydraulic calculations, PFDs and P&IDs, and constructability assessments.
• Coordinate interfaces across MEICA disciplines and ensure integrated design solutions across Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation teams.
