Job summary

CBRE in Dublin is seeking a Fabric Technician to deliver proactive and reactive building maintenance and repair services for client contracts. You will support clients and work with the engineering team to keep facilities running smoothly.

This role requires handling preventive maintenance, inspections for codes and safety, and assisting with installation and modification of building equipment. You will perform tasks under supervision and follow defined procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
• Valid Driver’s license required.
• Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in an efficient and courteous manner, with a strong focus on customer care.
• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Assist engineering staff in a wide range of duties as required.
• Take measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
