Job summary

StepStone Group is seeking a motivated student to join the SPAR Client Services team in Dublin, focusing on Private Equity reporting and portfolio analytics. This internship offers hands-on exposure to financial data analysis, performance reporting, and client service operations.

You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining practical experience in private markets and the systems used to produce high-quality client deliverables.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, mathematics, data analytics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with PowerPoint or data visualization tools is helpful.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting, organising, and validating financial and portfolio data used in client reporting.
• Support the preparation of recurring client deliverables and internal reporting materials.
• Assist with processing quarterly reports, capital account statements, and cash flow information from private market investment managers.
• Help maintain accurate information in reporting databases and proprietary systems.
• Conduct research and analysis on private equity funds and market trends across strategies, sectors, and geographies.
• Use Microsoft Excel and reporting tools to organise, analyse, and present data.
• Support the development of presentations, charts, and visualisations for internal and client-facing materials.
• Collaborate with SPAR team members and cross-functional partners to gather information, meet deadlines, and support ad hoc projects.
