Job summary

StepStone is offering a SPAR Internship in Dublin for students or recent graduates pursuing a degree in finance, economics, or related fields. You will contribute to private equity reporting, portfolio analytics, and client service operations, gaining hands-on exposure to real client deliverables.

You will develop analytical, technical, and communication skills while working with a global team, using Excel and presentation tools to support data-driven insights for clients.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, mathematics, data analytics, or a related field.
• Be able to work full-time in our Dublin office November 2026 - April 2027.
• Interest in financial services, private markets, portfolio analytics, or performance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting, organising, and validating financial and portfolio data used in client reporting.
• Support the preparation of recurring client deliverables and internal reporting materials.
• Assist with processing quarterly reports, capital account statements, and cash flow information from private market investment managers.
• Help maintain accurate information in reporting databases and proprietary systems.
• Conduct research and analysis on private equity funds and market trends across strategies, sectors, and geographies.
• Use Microsoft Excel and reporting tools to organise, analyse, and present data.
• Support the development of presentations, charts, and visualisations for internal and client-facing materials.
• Collaborate with SPAR team members and cross-functional partners to gather information, meet deadlines, and support ad hoc projects.
