Job summary

Quest Recruitment seeks a PE Accounting Manager in Dublin to join our Private Equity Fund Accounting group. Lead a team delivering high-quality financial reporting for prestigious PE clients.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting operations, 3+ years in Private Equity, and strong communication skills to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines while developing the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in accounting operations or practice.
• 3+ years' experience in Private Equity (desirable)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables, stakeholders and deadlines.
• Solid understanding of the financial services industry and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of supervisors and accounting specialists.
• Become SME on PE client structures and accounting processes.
• Manage client deliverables (SLAs) and ensure team performance.
• Monitor KPIs and KRIs.
• Oversee monthly/quarterly reporting packs.
• Manage client capital activity processing (calls, distributions, transfers).
• Review and prepare management fee, waterfall, carry calculations.
• Prepare accounts/financial statements for complex PE structures.
• Participate in local and global projects to improve processes.
• Engage with your team and manager on goals and development.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication.

As a core member of our Private Equity Fund Accounting group, you will work alongside highly accomplished professionals delivering award-winning services to some of the most recognised and prestigious clients in the PE industry.

Responsibilities

As a PE Accounting Manager, you will:

• Lead and mentor a team of supervisors and accounting specialists, supporting their development and training
• Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on PE client structures and accounting processes
• Manage client deliverables (SLAs) and ensure team performance meets expectations
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly/quarterly reporting packs
• Manage client capital activity processing, including calls, distributions, and transfers
• Review and prepare management fee, waterfall, and carry calculations
• Prepare accounts and/or financial statements for complex PE structures
• Participate in local and global projects to improve processes and deliverables
• Regularly engage with your team and manager on individual and team goals
• Conduct performance reviews and support continuous team development
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication
