Job summary

SolarWinds is seeking a Principal Product Manager to own the end-to-end eCommerce experience. This senior contributor role has high visibility across Product, Engineering, Finance, and Go-to-Market, with potential to grow into people leadership as the eCommerce function scales.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience, with revenue-generating digital products.
• 3–5+ years in ecommerce, self-serve, or PLG in B2B SaaS or hybrid.
• Proven ability to define and execute strategy at senior level.
• Deep understanding of checkout UX, payments, pricing, and subscription lifecycle.
• Strong analytical skills: funnels, A/B testing, cohort analysis.
• Ability to lead through influence in a matrixed org.
• Pricing and packaging modeling and presentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience mentoring PMs.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year product vision and roadmap for eCommerce.
• Scope online sales across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise.
• Influence pricing, packaging, and go-to-market with leaders.
• Represent eCommerce at executive level with business impact.
• Own self-serve journey from trial to paid.
• Define in-product upgrade and expansion paths.
• Build in-app purchasing and entitlement infrastructure.
• Measure PLG metrics and revenue KPIs.
• Lead platform investments in commerce engine and payments.
• Build dashboards and a data-driven operating model.
