Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Principal Product Manager for Elastic Security to own strategic enterprise relationships and lead requirement-based product direction. You will balance customer needs with engineering feasibility, manage an enhancement pipeline, and collaborate across Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Legal in a remote-first setup.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of product management experience, with 4+ years in B2B enterprise software.
• Experience with named strategic accounts and hyperscalers is a strong plus.
• Ability to translate customer needs into shipped products and manage at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own the enhancement request pipeline across multiple strategic enterprise accounts.
• Translate customer requirements into shipped products with a clear product direction.
• Turn input from strategic accounts into formal partnerships and roadmaps.
• Feed validated customer patterns back into core product roadmaps and influence direction.
• Serve as the primary product voice in meetings with senior stakeholders (CISO, CTO, VP Security Operations).
• Prioritize requirements using structured frameworks (RICE, weighted scoring).
• Partner with product and engineering to write actionable requirements and assess feasibility.
• Navigate tension between contractual expectations and the internal roadmap.
• Create artifacts like dashboards and memos to provide visibility without constant meetings.
• Advocate for customer needs while balancing market-wide impact.
