Job summary

Brightflag is seeking the first Principal Technology Product Manager to own and scale the platform layer — API framework, MCP server strategy, identity/access, and reporting. You will lead with engineers/architects, setting technical standards and ensuring platform health across three vertical teams.

In a remote-first environment with Dublin touchpoints and annual NYC trips, you'll drive architecture decisions, governance, and a sustainable pace while mentoring other PMs and shaping AI-assisted

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management for platform/infrastructure or developer-guided API teams.
• Strong foundation in architecture and protocol discussions.
• Familiarity with identity/access management concepts (OAuth/OIDC/SSO) and API patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and roadmap for Brightflag Platform pillar including API framework.
• Build intake/prioritisation mechanism across three vertical teams.
• Define/track platform health metrics and developer onboarding time.
• Write API/tool contracts clear for internal and external developers.
• Mentor PMs and shape cross-team collaboration in a remote-first setting.
