Job summary

Brightflag, part of Wolters Kluwer, is seeking a Principal Technology Product Manager to own the platform layer. You will lead the API framework, MCP server strategy, and identity/access controls, partnering with engineers and architects to scale the platform across multiple verticals.

You'll work in a remote-first environment with Dublin touchpoints and an annual NYC trip, shaping the platform that underpins several enterprise SaaS products while mentoring other PMs in collaboration with

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management focused on platform/infrastructure.
• Strong background in identity/access management concepts and API platform patterns.
• Experience with API design, REST, and security considerations.
• Ability to resolve competing demands across multiple teams and roadmaps.
• Technical credibility to engage with architects and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and roadmap for Brightflag's Platform pillar: API framework, MCP server, identity/access, notifications, reporting, and tooling.
• Treat vertical product teams as internal customers and manage intake/prioritisation across three teams.
• Own Brightflag's MCP server strategy end to end and drive architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with engineering on architecture, sequencing, and build-vs-buy trade-offs.
• Define and track platform health metrics and write clear API/tool contracts.
