Job summary

The Ireland Roads team at WSP is seeking an Associate or Associate Director with extensive post-qualification experience in the design and project management of road and public transport schemes to join our Dublin office. The role involves leading a team on major national infrastructure projects and working with the National Transport Authority and Local Authorities.

The successful candidate will manage design delivery from inception to handover, coordinate multi-disciplinary inputs, and support

Qualifications

• Proven project management and delivery of medium to high complexity road/infrastructure schemes.
• Experience with transport infrastructure procedures (TII/NT A/Local Authority).
• Knowledge of design standards including DMURS, The Traffic Signs Manual, NCM, TII publications.

Responsibilities

• Lead design processes and coordinate multi-disciplinary inputs.
• Manage resources to meet workloads and budgets.
• Collaborate with clients and design teams to ensure timely, compliant designs.
• Mentor less experienced staff and support technical reviews.
• Participate in tenders and business development opportunities.
• Coordinate with other WSP teams to mobilize resources for multidisciplinary projects.
• Agree project fees and manage commercial position.
• Oversee specialist subconsultant inputs.
