Job summary

OpenText, The Information Company, is seeking a Principal Cloud Systems Engineer to join the Directory Services team. You will contribute to designing, implementing, and supporting large-scale directory and identity platforms that underpin global business operations.

The role emphasizes automation, security, and reliability across AD, DNS, identity management, and cloud infrastructure. You will provide technical leadership, guide cross-functional initiatives, and collaborate with teams worldwide

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a technology-driven enterprise environment with expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and related infrastructure services.
• Strong hands-on experience administering enterprise DNS, identity management, cloud infrastructure, and directory services environments.
• Proficiency with automation and infrastructure-as-code tools, including PowerShell, Terraform, and Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, support, and optimization of enterprise-scale Active Directory, DNS, identity management, and cloud infrastructure platforms.
• Drive automation initiatives using PowerShell, Terraform, and Ansible to improve operational efficiency and service reliability.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex infrastructure challenges, serving as an escalation point for the wider engineering team.
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver domain migrations, platform upgrades, cloud integrations, and infrastructure modernization projects.
• Influence best practices across systems administration, patch management, monitoring, security, and operational documentation.
